Be a Powerful Voice For an Abused Child

Volunteer Your Time to Change a Child’s Life – Become a CASA Volunteer Today!

Nobody longs for a safe and loving family more than a child in foster care. As a CASA volunteer, you are empowered by the courts to help make this dream a reality. You will be the one consistent adult in these children’s lives, vigilantly fighting for and protecting their fundamental right to be treated with the dignity and respect every child deserves. You will not only bring positive change to the lives of these vulnerable children, but also their children and generations to come. And in doing so, you will enrich your life as well.

CASA invites you to attend our Volunteer Orientations every Thursday from 11:00 – Noon at the CASA office. CASA of Jackson County is located at 613 Market Street, Medford.

     Coffee and CASA Kids

Dutch Bros Champions CASA's Efforts to Serve More Children

It's a well known fact that many of us frequent Dutch Bros during the morning dash to indulge in one of today's still affordable luxuries...coffee.  The Dutch Bros staff is always ready with a warm greeting and a hot cup of Joe; and despite the testimony of bumper stickers, I've never encountered the more menacing Dutch Mafia even though I've been a patron for years.  I have, however, encountered a community hero who is the driving force behind our Jackson County Dutch Bros operations, Ty Sullivan.

Ty has championed CASA's efforts to serve the increasing number of children on our waiting list in many ways.  The most impactful way has been through his lead gift this year of $20,000 to our Major Gifts Campaign.  This campaign is critical to our ability to sustain services to over 500 children a year, to bring children to life before a judge and to ensure their safety and chance for a permanent home are kept at the forefront of everyone's minds at all times.

Today, if you donate $100 or more, Ty will match your gift, effectively doubling the contribution.  If you are able to join this campaign, your contribution will go directly to providing one or more CASAs to children who have no one to speak for them.  Providing a CASA to one child costs $70 a month and will provide them a powerful voice, hope, safety and one committed person who will not abandoned them.

If you'd like to learn more about becoming a CASA or how our work positively impacts the lives of abused children, visit our Volunteers Page or attend one of our weekly orientations on Thursdays, 11 am to Noon at the CASA office: 613 Market St., Medford.
